Sealants

A tooth sealant is a thin coating of plastic that is applied to the chewing surfaces of the teeth, usually the molars, to help prevent tooth decay. The sealant quickly bonds to the ridges and grooves of the teeth, forming a protective shield over the enamel of each tooth.
