Pyorrhea

Pyorrhea is an inflammatory disease of the gums caused by a buildup of bacteria in the mouth. This buildup of bacteria causes what is called plaque, a sticky, yellowish film that is usually found between the gums and the connection between the teeth. In the worst case, the progression of dental pyorrhea leads to tooth loss.
